RO CASTAÑO (aka CHA SHAHAM) FIRST and TRACK SPEED RECORD in UAE!

RO CASTAÑO (renamed CHA SHAHAM), ridden by Massa Tonbakji, today won at the CEN 100 KM Sheikha Fatma Bint Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ladies Cup, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, setting a new track speed record for the distance,

with a final average speed of 30,96 km/h!!

Congratulations to all Al Wathba Stables team, and specially to owner Sheik Mansoor bin Zayed al Nahyan, trainer Ali Khalfan al Jahouri and vet Dr. Alejandro Echezarreta!

This is the fourth race won by RO Castaño in UAE (previously two 100 km and one 120 KM), the second podium position during this season (previously he was 3rd at the CEN 120 KM National Day Cup) and second time he breaks a speed record (previously in 120 KM for Al Wathba track)!!

RO Castaño is a son of our Angloarab (50%) stallion RO SHY DANDY (Wagram (PL)) who is ranked first as a producer for this UAE season at the moment!
